Ed Hillary & Tenzing Norgay Signed FDC Everest 25th Franklin Mint Coin Cover

In excellent condition as per scans, this is the Franklin Mint FDC and Coin Cover produced in 1978 to celebrate the 25th Anniversary of the first ascent to the summit of Everest. A first class quality collectable that has been signed by both Edmund Hillary and Sherpa Tensing Norgay. Hillary and Tenzing spent a week signing these in a hotel room in Chicago for the Franklin Mint in 1978, the only time that the pair signed together for a certified item. Due to the intensity of the signing period often the signatures on these covers can suffer from being slightly rushed or tired - this is one of the better examples I have seen and if you are a serious enthusiast this is the one you will want. The Cover and Medal comes complete with it's own protective wallet embossed'The 25th Anniversary of the First Ascent of Mount Everest Commemorative. Complete with factual insert and original Franklin Mint letter of authentication. I also have an Edmund Hillary coin cover listed.
