This is a rare opportunity to own a Dynatem AIM-65 6502 development kit produced under license from Rockwell with the Assembler, Forth w/Math Pack, Basic & PL-65 chip sets. The EPROMs shown might be of different from those shown in the photos as I use several vendors parts. This very rare AIM-65 has the Dynatem circuit changes for the RAM and ROM chips allowing both 2532s and 2732s for those sockets and the 8KB/32KB SRAM EPROM chips for everything under the A000 I/O block as either RAM in all locations and EPROM in 8/9000. The rest of the AIM is identical to the original AIM-65 except for a better A000 I/O decoding. In my opinion this is the best AIM-65 ever made by either Rockwell or Dynatem because of the above modifications it doesn't need the RAM/ROM expansion boards required for the first versions.I used this system to load tapes for analysis from customers as late as 3-5 years ago. I also used the expansion connector to read and repair some RM-65 compatible boards that controlled a quilting machine that had failed. I also programmed some 2532s for other uses. The power supply, enclosure, keyboard, display and mainboard are all original and the scans of some of the documents are from my era as a distributor for both Rockwell and Dynatem. I have decided that with this much RAM, it needs the FDC C1541 Interface I just designed using Vintage code from ABCC's Alec Blanco and a VEB for the user 6522 I designed. You may find scans of the AIM-65 revisions on Rich Cini's website as well as other documentation for the AIM and some accessories. Send me a message for the latest site if unavailable. This historical package consists of - 1 - Dynatem AIM-65 SBC w/20 Column Printer, Keyboard, and 40K Bytes of SRAM. It even boots up with the Dynatem sign-on. 1 - Rockwell molded case with internal power supply and power switch on the side 1 - Microsoft Basic Interpreter EPROM Chip Set (2-2732s) with manual on CD 1 - Rockwell Assembler Language EPROM Chip (1-2732) with information in the User Manual on CD 1 - Rockwell PL-65 High Level Programming Compiler EPROM Chip Set with manual (2-2732s) on CD 1 - C1541 VEB interface board and software on 2532 occupying the D000 slot.
1 - Rockwell Forth Programming Language EPROM Chip Set with manual on CD (2-2732s). I found a data sheet for the AIM-65/40 Forth Math Pack ROM so I will try to include a copy or send scan of that also. I tested it with Forth and was able to re-enter Forth using the "N" key (the normal entry point for the Assembler) but I'm not sure how it interfaces to the supplied software. 1 - Rockwell AIM-65 User's Guide & AIM-65 Summary Card on CD - Paper card included. 1 - Rockwell 6502 Programming Manual and Reference card on CD - Paper card included 1 - Rockwell 6502 Hardware Manual on CD 1 - Monitor listing Manual on CD 1 - roll of thermal paper for the printer Found this page - From: old-computers.Com/museum "to use the Forth Math ROM, just use "N and it will load the words into the dictionary. I don't have any documentation, but looking at most of the routines it can be determined from the names. So I want you to be happy and have a working system and I will do my part to make that happen. So if you have one or more we can discuss trade-ins or discounts. I can also swap labor to get your AIM or keyboard working. If you don't need any of the EPROMs for the other languages, make me an offer and we can negotiate. The EPROMs used for the languages - 25/2732s - might have markings and tarnish on the pins since they are reprogrammed.
